I 100% agree with you but, many people said in 2005 that they wouldn't be paying $60 for a game either and look at where we are now. Less game and more DLC for even more money. And that isn't in the hands of developers, that pricing strategy was created by Sony and Microsoft.
that's why they're called editorials! They're opinion pieces. I go to them for the News and they're usually spot on, sometimes getting info out there before Kotaku and other big sites. I submitted the story because it was interesting, albeit opinionated. If you want news, then read the news, editorials are for intelligent folks.
